Jorge Sampaoli é o novo treinador do Atlético Mineiro. Em suas últimas campanhas (ao contrário dos anos em que estava no auge), fez trabalhos ruins e sempre arranjando confusão. O que leva o Galo de Minas Gerais contratá-lo? Seria… saudosismo?
O futebol brasileiro não é coerente na contratação de treinadores. Não há filosofia definida, o que faz, por exemplo, o Santos FC ter técnicos arrojados e outros conservadores no mesmo ano. De Diniz a Carille em pouco tempo. Ou o Fluminense, ao trocar (olhe ele de novo) Diniz por Mano Menezes.
Voltando ao Atlético: Cuca, vitorioso no clube, voltou mesmo não estando em boa fase. Agora, o mesmo acontece com Sampaoli. E pior: contrato até final de 2027! Qual o valor da multa? Afinal, em algum momento até essa data, ela terá que ser paga. Mas a pergunta é: o que credencia o treinador argentino hoje? Seu gênio difícil de se lidar nos corredores, certamente não é.
Pense: até o Fortaleza, que tem sido elogiado, sofre para acertar. Teve 4 anos com Vojvoda e 10 jogos com o improvável Renato Paiva.
A culpa de tudo isso deve ser a estrutura do clube. Não ter um diretor de futebol afiado com a história ou tendência da agremiação, que defina uma linha de trabalho perene, é a causa. Não precisa ser como a La Masia do Barcelona, mas algo que defina norte. E, sabemos, poucos têm.
Será que só eu creio que Sampaoli vai arranjar uma confusão e não chegará até dezembro de 2027?

Brazilian football isn’t consistent in hiring coaches. There’s no defined philosophy, which is why, for example, Santos FC has daring coaches and then conservative ones in the same year. Am I the only one who believes that Sampaoli will cause trouble and won’t make it to December 2027?
