We all know that Anderson Daronco is a “heavy” referee, who tends to stop the game frequently with fouls and is criticized for it. However, in 2025, he’s letting the game flow more, not calling forced fouls and asserting himself with better posture. It seems to me that, in this current Brasileirão (even due to the complaints he hears), the Gaucho is reinventing himself.

Important: The Referee Team and VAR Team are all from the same state of the Federation. This is a rare occurrence in assignments, but, at the same time, it presents an opportunity for greater cohesion.
